F/2, Tongli Studio, Sanlitun Back Street,Sanlitun
三里屯后街同里2层,三里屯
Designed, financed and managed by Beijing DJs, this Tongli club puts music first. House, minimal tech and disco fill its dance floor with booming beats. Quality sitting and strong drinks take this second generation White Rabbit to the next level, filling its red walls with Cheshire-cat grins and loose inhibitions.
They dont have wines here.My friend is a a wine lover. My friend and I wanted to spend an evening here but no wine , so had a beer and got out.
The new location made me raise my eyebrows a bit, but I was a fool to do so. Great place to dance, drink, then dance some more. Glad the rabbit is back and even more so that Monsieur Ken Chan will no longer play there.
I like this place for the music ,the sound systems and Djs dish out good stuff. The drinks might be slightly expensive but overall feeling is good specially on the friday or saturday and other days ,there is no party environment.
Miss the old White Rabbit. More commercial now, and more seating through the layout is boring. More seating also means more people sitting as the crowd looks older than before. Music is better than the rest of the flock, especially its neighbors in the Bar Disneyland of Tong Li. Lost a lot of character in the move.
I gave them 3 star.. place is so tinny... last saturday night this place not so crowded. Good music though. i don't really like the setting of this place.
Bouncers act like uncontrollable thugs sometimes. Watch out.
so has anybody been to the new white rabbit?
I only went to the old White Rabbit once, and can't say I remember a whole lot, but I do remember that there was almost nowhere to sit down. The new White Rabbit has remedied this problem with tons of comfortable seating, but I've been dancing the whole time the few times I've been there since it opened. I was a little skeptical of the move to Sanlitun but am now really happy that it's closer to my house and provides a much needed dancing spot in Sanlitun. The drinks are a little pricey for the dive-ish atmosphere, but the RMB35 whisky sours are solid. Electronic music's not really my thing, but I've enjoyed myself thoroughly here the last couple of weekends and think the DJs are really decent and this is fast becoming a regular weekend stop on my party circuit.
Fantastic sound system, glowing pink walls and a management which is committed to quality dance music, Rabbit is the best place to party in Beijing. Looking forward to some truly epic nights there.
